There are a variety of things to do in Winona, including walking around the lakes, renting a canoe, or taking a hike in Holzinger Woods. You can find information on these activities and more at the Winona Chamber of Commerce website.
We would also invite you to drive over to the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi to visit the Trempealeau Wildlife Reserve. There are short hiking trails and an observation platform where you can observe birds and other wildlife.
We have also created a post listing some of our favorite places to eat and drink in Winona. The Lakeview Drive In and the Penguin Zesto are great places for ice cream and root beer floats. The Blue Heron has good food for brunch and lunch. Mugby Junction has good coffee and wireless Internet.

Taxi Cabs in Winona
Guests may consider taking a taxi to the Friday night party, or up to the winery if you do not care to take the shuttle. Cabs fares are fairly reasonable in Winona and you have a choice of two companies.
